Mr. Fisher has practiced law in New York City since 1966 and is widely recognized as a “lawyer’s lawyer” who has often obtained for his client’s results that others said could not be achieved. Over a long and highly successful legal career, Andrew has litigated in federal and state courts, both at the trial and appellate levels, on numerous and diverse matters including labor and employment, real property, and all manner of commercial disputes, as well as construction projects, and medical discipline. Andrew has served as a Member of the New York City Youth Board, as an Assistant Counsel to a New York State Joint Legislative Committee, and founder of the Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation serving as its Chairman for 17 years. He has been recognized for his community service by, among others, Long Island University, the Brooklyn Philharmonic Orchestra, the Brooklyn Navy Yard, Boys & Girls Club, Brooklyn Hospital-Caledonian Hospital, the Council of Jewish Organizations of Flatbush, and the Kings County (Brooklyn) Democratic Party.
